EHC is currently looking for an Industrial Yard Lead for a client in the Bridgeton, MO area.

Job Summary:

The Yard Lead is responsible for overseeing daily yard operations within an industrial distribution environment. This role coordinates the loading, unloading, staging, and organization of heavy materials such as pipe, and related products. The Yard Lead ensures safe material handling, accurate order fulfillment, and efficient truck flow while serving as a point of contact for yard associates and drivers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily yard operations including loading, unloading, staging, and material organization
  • Direct forklift operators and yard associates to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Verify outbound loads for accuracy
  • Maintain yard organization, cleanliness, and product identification
  • Enforce safety procedures related to heavy equipment, rigging, and material handling
  • Assist with training and mentoring yard personnel
  • Communicate with warehouse, sales, and dispatch teams to prioritize workload
  • Support inventory control efforts including material counts and discrepancy resolution
