Piping Enterprise Company has an opportunity available for a Pipe Fitter to be an integral part of our Shop Fabrication team. Piping Enterprise Company takes pride in our quality of work and has a goal of building our workforce with the most talented employees. We can meet you at any skill level, whether you are just starting your career or have years of experience under your belt.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Comply with safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and regulations.
• Fit components as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions.
• Set-up, lay out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finish products.
• Operate forklifts, hoist, hand power tools, overhead cranes, grinders, cutting torch, plasma arc and other hand tools related to the job’s needs.
• Read, understand, and follow job specifications, drawings, and/or work orders.
• Cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position.
• Inspect equipment and if any equipment needs repairs notify supervisor/lead or maintenance department.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to pass a basic background and drug screen, be at work on-time, show up for work when scheduled, be available to work overtime including weekends.
• Interview with shop supervision, minimum of three years’ experience, and pass a basic written pipe fitter test.
