Piping Enterprise Company has an opportunity available for a Pipe Fitter to be an integral part of our Shop Fabrication team. Piping Enterprise Company takes pride in our quality of work and has a goal of building our workforce with the most talented employees. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Comply with safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and regulations.
• Fit components as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions.
• Set-up, lay out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finish products.
• Operate forklifts, hoist, hand power tools, overhead cranes, grinders, cutting torch, plasma arc and other hand tools related to the job’s needs.
• Read, understand, and follow job specifications, drawings, and/or work orders.
• Cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position.
• Inspect equipment and if any equipment needs repairs notify supervisor/lead or maintenance department.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to pass a basic background and drug screen, be at work on-time, show up for work when scheduled, be available to work overtime including weekends.
• Interview with shop supervision, minimum of three years’ experience, and pass a basic written pipe fitter test.
