Pipe Cutter Pay Rate and Hours:
  • Pay: $17-18/hr, DOE
  • Days: Monday through Friday
  • Hours: 1st shift 6:00am-3:00pm
Pipe Cutter Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pipe Cutter to join our team at our supply company. This position is responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, preparing, and handling pipe materials ranging from ½" to 24" OD. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and industrial cutting equipment, possess strong measurement skills, and maintain a commitment to safety and quality.
Pipe Cutter Primary Responsibilities:
  • Measure and cut pipe to customer and production specifications.
  • Read and interpret tape measurements accurately.
  • Operate a Hem Saw to cut pipe materials.
  • Operate a pneumatic beveler to prepare pipe ends as required.
  • Operate a lathe for pipe machining and finishing processes.
  • Assist with plasma cutting operations when needed.
  • Package and protect finished products using shrink wrap equipment.
  • Safely load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the facility.
  • Maintain production quality standards and ensure accurate order completion.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance issues.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Pipe Cutter Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, pipe yard, steel service center, or industrial environment preferred.
  • Forklift experience required. (Might be driving cherry pickers, reach trucks, rough terrain, and regular sit down)
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure. MUST TAKE TAPE MEASURE TEST.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience operating industrial equipment preferred.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
