Does pip mean termination?

In the context of a PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) for a sales role, it does not mean termination but is a formal process to help employees improve their performance. If performance does not improve during the PIP period, termination may be considered, but the plan itself is aimed at development. PIPs are common in sales jobs to address performance issues before making employment decisions.

Is it better to resign or go on pip?

For a PIP Sales role, resigning may be appropriate if you are seeking a career change or facing workplace issues, but going on a PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) is typically used to address performance concerns and improve skills. Deciding between the two depends on your job satisfaction, performance, and future goals; consulting with HR or a career advisor can help determine the best course of action.

How many people on a pip get fired?

In a PIP (Performance Improvement Plan), the goal is to help employees improve their performance; however, if performance does not meet the required standards after the plan, some employees may be terminated. The exact percentage varies by company and situation, but not all employees on a PIP are fired. PIPs are used as a formal process to support improvement before considering termination.

What is PIP in sales jobs?

In sales jobs, PIP stands for Performance Improvement Plan, which is a formal process used by employers to help employees improve their performance when it falls below expectations. It typically includes specific goals, timelines, and support to help the employee meet job requirements. PIPs are used to address performance issues before considering termination or other disciplinary actions.

Job description

Are you ready to join a winning team that’s passionate about helping people and fighting for what’s right? LaBovick Law Group is expanding our Personal Injury Protection (PIP) sales division into Massachusetts, and we’re looking for driven, relationship-focused sales professionals to take this market by storm.

At LaBovick Law, we live by our core values: Fight to Win, Passion to Serve, Relentless Innovation, and Own It. That spirit drives everything we do — from helping our provider partners recover their PIP revenue to creating lasting community impact.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle — from prospecting to closing — with medical providers throughout your assigned territory.
  • Educate providers on the PIP revenue recovery process and show them how partnering with our firm can grow their practice.
  • Build and sustain long-term client relationships that reflect trust, consistency, and results.
  • Represent the firm at events, developing new provider connections and strengthening existing ones.
  • Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets — because excellence is our baseline.
  • Partner with our marketing team to craft innovative, growth-focused strategies and events.
  • Maintain and organize provider documentation, contracts, and communications.
  • Deliver results and celebrate wins with your team, because success here is a shared victory.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of proven sales success — ideally in healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceutical sales.
  • Strong relationships or familiarity with doctors, imaging centers, and healthcare decision-makers.
  • A genuine "hunter" mindset — you don’t wait for opportunities; you create them.
  • Outstanding communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Why Join LaBovick Law Group?

We’re not just a law firm — we’re a family dedicated to growth, excellence, and service. You’ll have the tools, mentorship, and freedom to chart your own success. Plus, we offer:

  • Base salary with unlimited commission potential
  • 100% employer-covered base plan health insurance
  • 401(k) Safe Harbor plan with a 4% company match
  • Career development pathways and leadership opportunities
  • A supportive culture that celebrates wins, growth, and community involvement

If you’ve got passion, grit, and the drive to make an impact, let’s talk. Join a firm that believes when we fight — we fight to win, together.

Apply today and be a part of justice in action.
