Job description

The Receiving Coordinator is a key member of the operations team and plays a crucial role in the receiving process. This full-time, non-exempt position is based in Hopkins, MN and reports to the Inventory Control Manager. This is a 1st shift position with normal working hours of 6:30 am – 3:30 pm. The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for maintaining inventory counts and quality control procedures of incoming product shipments. The Receiving Coordinator ensures all inbound shipments are unloaded, inspected, received, and stocked.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receives and processes warehouse stock (pick, unload, audit, label, store)
  • Use of barcode and scanning technology for receiving and overall inventory management
  • Use of Netsuite ERP system for uploading documents, stock inquiries, item configuration and other
  • Stocks product in proper warehouse location in an organized manner
  • Inspect inbound products for defects and damages
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
  • Reports Inventory related discrepancies
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers as needed
  • Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Conducts daily physical stock counts according to schedule
  • Configures bin locations throughout the facility
  • Maintains and prints barcodes labels, primary bin identifiers, and warehouse signage as needed

  • 6-12 months related experience (Preferred)
