This position operates within a fully remote telehealth setting, providing the flexibility and convenience to work from your home environment in Phoenix, Arizona. Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor at South Pine Care Center, you will:

  • Oversee the clinical care and support for a diverse patient population, ensuring a high standard of quality and proficiency.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, while performing thorough assessments to document and summarize treatment progress.
  • Manage a varied caseload, providing tailored interventions for clients dealing with a range of mental health issues.
  • Utilize advanced clinical skills to assess client and family needs, collaborating to develop effective treatment and resolution plans.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and provide therapeutic support during challenging situations to stabilize clients.
  • Create detailed treatment plans, conduct mental health evaluations, and adjust strategies as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
  • Engage in continuous evaluation of client progress and offer necessary adjustments to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
  • Provide educational and supportive programming for clients and their families to foster understanding and coping strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will impact a wide range of individuals facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their specific therapeutic needs and circumstances.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A Masterโ€™s degree or Ph.D. in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Current licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic techniques and patient care.
Preferred Experience

While not required, applicants with additional certifications in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care will be given preference. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices is also highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $135,000 annually, commensurate with experience and licensure. Additional benefits include:

  • Up to $1,500 sign-on bonus.
  • Flexible scheduling options with 5-40 hours per week.
  • Performance bonuses of up to $2,000 based on state licensure.
