Job description

Our family-oriented Pinch A Penny Pool & Spa franchise is ready to hire a knowledgeable Pool & Spa Assistant Store Manager. This position requires the individual to have a friendly attitude and be well-presented with a strong desire to learn the process our way.

We are a retail business that is open 7 days a week. Like most retail businesses, our busiest days are the weekends (Saturday Sunday). Flexibility with your schedule, particularly on the weekends, is critical to our culture and team’s success.

About the Opportunity

As the Store Manager, you will support the performance of Pinch a Penny store to ensure that it meets or exceeds customer service standards, sales plans, profitability, operating procedures, and all merchandising objectives. You will also learn best practices to train and develop your team and set the expectation of providing excellent customer service as you lead by example.

Responsibilities

  • Train with the Management to learn overall expectations and procedures of store operations, sales plans, profit margins, and all controllable expenses. (P&L)

  • Assist by conducting water analysis and repairs

  • Work on increasing commercial, residential sales and customer counts

  • Ensure that the team is following all safety protocols

  • Assist in identifying new talent to join the team

  • Maintain a welcoming environment at the store

  • Assist with merchandising and inventory control

  • Opening and Closing responsibilities that may include the delivery of bank deposit

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

  • A minimum of 2 years of retail experience.

  • MUST have 3 years experience in Pool and Spa Industry.

  • Have experience in managing/leading a team

  • Must have excellent communication skills and be proficient with computers

  • Have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
