Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable Retail Associate to assist customers, maintain store operations, and support light equipment repairs. Previous retail or pool-supply experience is a plus; we will train the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Prior retail or pool-supply experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to learn water chemistry testing and basic equipment repair
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Essential Duties

  • Greet and assist customers on the sales floor
  • Accurately perform water-balance testing and explain results/recommendations
  • Answer phone inquiries professionally
  • Help customers load purchases into vehicles as needed
  • Perform basic in-store equipment repairs and maintenance
  • Receive, organize, and maintain store inventory
  • Stock shelves and manage jugs/chemical displays safely
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 25–50 lbs (assistance available for heavier items)
  • Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and climb step stools as needed
  • Comfortable working indoors with pool chemicals (proper PPE and training provided)
