General Description

The successful candidate will join a group of established pilots serving as a dedicated crewmember in a fleet of two large cabin Gulfstream aircraft. The Pilot-in-Command is responsible for the safety of passengers and crew and the comfortable, timely operation of the aircraft. They supervise the flight crew and ensure that all flight and ground operations comply with FAA Regulations. They determine flight routes, speed, and take off and landing times to fulfill scheduling requirements. They make decisions regarding possible delays, rerouting or flight cancellations. They may perform other general department duties when not flying. Hiring preference will be given to candidates who hold GVII and/or GVIII type ratings and have prior experience in type.


This position is located in Waterford, MI. The individuals selected for this position must live within 2 hours of Waterford, MI. As a pilot for Pentastar Aviation, crew members can expect to fly about 250 hours per year.

Requirements:

Qualifications

· ATP Certificate

· Minimum of 4,000 hours of Total Flight Time

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· G500/G600 prior experience highly desirable

· Prior business aviation experience required

· Large cabin Gulfstream experience required

· International experience required

· Ability to manage a changing work schedule

· Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain an FAA First Class medical certification
