Job Summary:
Eliassen Group is a strategic consulting firm that helps organizations reach further and achieve more through technology solutions. They are seeking a Mid Systems Engineer to support a Privileged Access Management program, assisting with CyberArk deployment, operations, and vulnerability mitigation in a federal environment.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in deploying and maintaining CyberArk PAM across development, test, and production environments.
• Support management of roles, safes, policies, and access controls within CyberArk.
• Help plan and execute software updates, patches, and upgrades following change management processes.
• Contribute to proof of concept efforts, pilots, demos, and analysis of alternatives with quantitative criteria.
• Prepare and improve operational and security reporting aligned to stakeholder and DHS CISA requirements.
• Identify and help remediate security vulnerabilities and support on-call troubleshooting for PAM services.
• Support annual disaster recovery testing and assist in documenting recovery and contingency plans.
• Assist with operating system patching and maintenance of vault appliances and related infrastructure.
• Map functional requirements to technical designs and document architectures, results, and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum 5 years providing solutions engineering support including architecture, engineering design, proof of concept, pilots, analysis, results, and documentation.
• Experience mapping functional requirements to technical requirements and identifying suitable technologies.
• Background conducting proofs of concept, pilots, and demos to evaluate technologies against requirements.
• Ability to perform quantitative analysis of alternatives and produce clear recommendation papers.
• At least 1 year implementing CyberArk lifecycle management in an enterprise environment of comparable scale to DOT.
• At least 3 years of server administration with Windows Server 2019 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.
• U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent residency with ability to obtain Public Trust.
• CyberArk Sentry certification.
Preferred:
• Proficiency integrating CyberArk with SailPoint.
• Extensive Active Directory experience across account management, Group Policy, AD Schema, PKI, and PowerShell automation.
• SQL Server 2019 administration skills including backups, indexing, integrity checks, installation, configuration, ports and protocols, maintenance plans, troubleshooting, and data modeling/ERDs.
• Ability to configure CyberArk for secure interoperability with networks, iDRAC, applications, cloud, storage, servers, and appliances.
