Good Pill

Lawrenceville, GA

$23/hr

Full-time

Re-posted 18 days ago

Job description

Pharmacy Technician II + Customer Support

  • 2+ years of retail pharmacy technician + customer support experience required.
  • Pay: $23/hour.
  • About 1 mile from Sugarloaf Mills, off I-85 between Duluth and Lawrenceville.
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 6:00pm.
  • Strong benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k).

Who We Are

Good Pill is reimagining what a pharmacy can be for families across Georgia. By pairing transparent, affordable pricing with surplus medicine that would otherwise be wasted, we help people get the prescriptions they need without the financial stress, and we're improving health for millions in the process.

The Opportunity

This is a hybrid role that blends two connected kinds of work: preparing prescriptions accurately behind the scenes, and supporting patients directly. As a Pharmacy Technician II + Customer Support team member, you'll both fill medications with precision and help patients navigate their orders and accounts. You'll also be part of our Patient Navigation team, answering questions and resolving issues by phone, text, and email.

What you'll do

  • Fill prescriptions accurately, repackaging donated unit-dose medication into patient vials.
  • Manage incoming medication orders and select the correct product from our donated inventory.
  • Respond to patients by phone, text, and email, troubleshooting account or medication questions and guiding them through our tools.
  • Help patients set up accounts and place orders so they can use our services smoothly.
  • Keep inventory accurate: remove expired items, update our systems, and reorder supplies like vials and envelopes.
  • Pitch in on administrative and operational tasks that keep the pharmacy and patient navigation running.

What makes you a great fit

  • You have 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience in a busy retail setting.
  • You're excellent at customer communication across phone, text, and email.
  • You care about improving access to medication and enjoy working where operations meets people.
  • You're comfortable with pharmacy and CRM software and GSuite, and pick up new tools quickly.
  • You're dependable in a full-time, 40-hour, on-site role (Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 6pm).

What We Offer

  • Health coverage: 100% of your medical, dental, and vision premiums, starting the 1st of the month after you join.
  • Paid time off: 6+ weeks total, including 2+ weeks of company holidays, 2 weeks of vacation, and 2 weeks of sick leave.
  • Future planning: a 4% 401(k) match, with traditional and Roth options.
  • Growth: a professional development stipend to learn new skills or explore other areas of the organization.

Candidates without the following will NOT be considered:

  • COVID-19 vaccination
  • A Georgia Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
  • Experience in all tasks related to filling prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, from software entry to product selection to repackaging to adding appropriate postage to envelopes
  • Passed background check

Physical requirements: Able to frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, squat and use light/fine grasping. Able to frequently sit and stand, reach above shoulders, perform desk based computer tasks, write by hand, lift, carry, push, stack, and pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds.
