How much do piling operative jobs pay per hour?

As of Jun 20, 2026, the average hourly pay for piling operative in the United States is $34.38, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $17.55 and $45.43 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What jobs pay 500,000 a year in the US?

Piling operatives typically do not earn $500,000 annually; such high salaries are usually associated with executive roles, specialized medical professionals, or successful entrepreneurs. High-paying construction or industrial jobs may reach six-figure incomes with experience, certifications, and overtime, but salaries of $500,000 are rare in this field. Most roles paying this amount involve leadership, ownership, or highly specialized skills beyond standard operative positions.

What is the difference between Piling Operative vs Groundworker?

AspectPiling OperativeGroundworker
CertificationsCSCS card, health & safety trainingCSCS card, health & safety training
Work EnvironmentConstruction sites, working near deep foundationsConstruction sites, groundwork preparation
Industry UsageSpecialized in installing piles and foundationsGeneral site groundwork, excavation, and drainage

While both roles work on construction sites and require similar safety certifications, Piling Operatives focus on installing deep foundations using piling equipment, whereas Groundworkers handle broader groundwork tasks like excavation and site preparation. Understanding these differences helps in choosing the right career path or job role in construction projects.

What jobs in the US pay $300,000 a year?

Piling operatives typically do not earn $300,000 annually, as this level of income is uncommon in construction roles. High-paying jobs in the US that can reach or exceed this salary include specialized medical professionals, senior corporate executives, and certain technology or finance roles, often requiring advanced degrees, extensive experience, or certifications. Most construction or manual labor jobs, including piling operations, have lower average salaries and do not reach this high income level.

What jobs pay 2000 a day?

Piling operatives typically do not earn $2000 a day; such high daily rates are usually associated with specialized roles like senior executives, certain consulting positions, or high-level contractors. Skilled trades or construction jobs may pay high weekly or project-based sums, but daily earnings of this level are uncommon in standard operative roles. Achieving such pay often requires extensive experience, certifications, or working in high-risk environments with premium rates.

What jobs pay $10,000 a month without a degree?

A Piling Operative typically earns less than $10,000 a month, but some high-paying trades like specialized construction supervisors, certain sales roles, or skilled trades such as elevator installers can reach or exceed that level without a degree. These jobs often require experience, certifications, or technical skills and may involve physically demanding work or working in specific environments.
