Job description

We are looking for a qualified Mat Pilates Instructor to lead engaging, safe, and effective mat Pilates classes. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about movement, enjoys working in a collaborative team environment, and thrives on helping people improve their strength, posture, and overall well-being. Our Pilates and Yoga program is new to the studio. If you’re excited about growing Pilates in a multi-disciplined gym then lets chat.

Responsibilities:

  • Instruct group and individual mat Pilates instruction classes and private mat classes as scheduled
  • Demonstrate anatomical knowledge and focus on safety with the ability to provide modifications and progressions for clients with injuries and/or limitations
  • Develop and implement Pilates class programs that are safe, effective, and challenging pursuant to studio standards and team feedback
  • Ensure class programming is safe, and fun
  • Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Current Pilates certification
  • Skilled at proper and safe use of Pilates equipment during each class (minimum to include Mat Pilates) to ensure a safe yet creative group experience
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create a welcoming, inclusive environmentPrevious experience as a personal trainer or in other related fields
  • Ability to build rapport with clients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Pilates teaching experience
