Job description

Position Summary 
Reports to the Director of Group Fitness and supports the day-to-day operations of the Group Fitness program to deliver a consistent, on-brand member experience. Leads and supports instructors, maintains schedule quality and class coverage, and ensures administrative accuracy across systems. 
Essential Functions 
  • Model and uphold Crunch policies, procedures, and brand standards. 
  • Serve as the primary local leader for the instructor team; build engagement, alignment, and accountability. 
  • Support hiring and onboarding of instructors, including orientation to club operations and required learning modules. 
  • Maintain instructor records (contact information, home club, skills, certifications, wage data) and required profiles in company systems. 
  • Support schedule execution and class coverage, including substitutions, cancellations, and communication with club leadership and the GX Director. 
  • Monitor participation and class quality, escalating concerns as needed.  
  • Coach and correct performance issues in coordination with the GX Director and Human Resources. 
  • Support administrative accuracy (attendance reconciliation, payroll readiness, and required documentation). 
  • Maintain Group Fitness spaces and equipment standards; report facility/equipment issues and support inventory processes. 
Qualifications 
  • Current CPR certification required; must maintain active Group Fitness certification from a nationally accredited provider (or approved equivalent). 
  • Experience teaching group fitness classes and supporting operational needs in a fitness environment. 
  • Strong communication skills; able to respond promptly, follow through, and work effectively with club leadership and a distributed instructor team. 
  • Comfortable using scheduling/HR and club systems (e.g., hiring platform, class management, scheduling, analytics). 
Work Requirements 
  • Regular weekly onsite club visits in addition to any classes taught. 
  • Ability to work evenings/weekends as needed to support schedule coverage and events. 
Compensation 
  • $25/hour for administrative responsibilities (up to 5 hours per week, as scheduled).
