Top Skills:
  • As a Data engineer (Security) successfully lead the delivery of projects including end-to-end requirements, data analysis, perform data engineering activities and work with the users for data validation.
  • Understanding and experience on Cloud Data warehousing , Cloud DLP, Cloud DataFlow
  • 5+ years of experience in Google Cloud DLP, PII Security, IAM, Cloud KMS and security services
  • 5+ years of Hands on experience in setting up Cloud DLP Custom infotypes,
  • 5+ years of Strong Hands on experience in any programming (Python, Node JS)
  • Professional Cloud Security Engineer Certification is a plus

Requisite Abilities and/or Skills
  • Perform requirement gathering with the business users and SME and build a plan
  • Strong understanding on Cloud DLP, Cloud KMS, Cloud Armor, Cloud IAM, Cloud IAM Audit logs
  • Perform data encryption at rest and data in motion using Cloud KMS
  • Experience in PII and PCI data management, data redaction, DLP custom infotypes
  • Experience in data security policies, data classification, encryption, Pseudonymization
  • Implement data classification of incoming data and access controls based on data domains
  • Perform ETL and data engineering work by leveraging multiple google cloud components using Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Data Proc, Google BigQuery
  • Knowledge on SQL queries, ETL and Reporting; Cloud Solutions like Google Big Query is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent task management, organization, and team collaboration skills.
  • Experience in any scripting languages / Cloud solutions is a plus

Key Accountabilities and Priorities:
  • Working with customer on prepare security matrix on PII, PCI data, provide thought leadership on Cloud Security.
  • Build security roadmap, security matrix, data classification policies, access controls. Encryption standards
  • Independently work on assigned projects and foster a collaborative environment for a high-performing team
  • Gather Business requirements, Review business priorities, Analyze options & risks

Work Location:
  • Remote until COVID followed by customer location in US

Additional Information:
  • Bachelor's Degree. Masters is a plus.
  • 8+ years' experience in Information Technology and/or in IT Professional Services.
