Job Overview:

Pay Range: $73.27hr - $78.27hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Civil Engineering Required.
  • Demonstrated experience in Fitness-for-Service evaluations for corrosion, dents and crack features (e.g. API-579, CorLAS, RSTRENG, MAT-8, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of ILI and Direct Assessment (DA), Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) methods/practices and pipeline repair.
  • Experience with evaluation and decisions based from assessment data.
  • Knowledge of pipeline integrity procedures and systems.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design, modeling, development and testing of a machine, structure or system.
  • Develops functional requirements and applies standard engineering principles.
  • Creates simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and test how a machine, structure or system operates.
  • Designs and tests components, and integrates components to produce final product.
  • Monitors quality of products and controls the efficiency of processes.
  • Evaluates a design’s overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
  • Investigates root causes of failures to maintain quality and recommend improvements.
  • Specializes in pipeline and equipment corrosion.
  • Responsible for monitoring platforms corrosion and maintaining mitigation policies.
  • Maintains pipeline integrity by carrying out cathodic protection programs.
  • Implements and updates corrosion strategies, arranges material investigations.
  • May be responsible for maintenance and repair of cathodic protection systems, pigging operations, coordination of pipeline service and in-line inspection, and ensuring documentation and records are maintained.
