Job Title: Order PickerJob Description

This role focuses on accurately picking, packing, and shipping customer orders in a fast-paced distribution center environment. You prepare and complete orders by loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping products, while periodically lifting up to 50 lbs and, when needed, up to 75 lbs. You work extensively with computers, handheld RF scanners, and warehouse management systems to track picks and ensure all outbound shipments are properly labeled, packaged, and documented. The position requires the ability to understand written and verbal English and to stand, bend, and lift for 8–10 hours per shift.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and complete customer orders by loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping products with consistent accuracy.
  • Pick orders based on assigned warehouse zones and track all picks using an RF scanner and warehouse management systems.
  • Pick, pack, and ship online customer orders with speed and precision in a high-volume environment.
  • Ensure all outbound shipments have correct labeling, packaging, and documentation before leaving the facility.
  • Utilize handheld scanners and computer systems to update order status, inventory movements, and shipping information.
  • Stand, bend, and lift for 8–10 hours per shift to handle materials and move products throughout the distribution center.

Work Environment

You work in a large distribution center featuring tall racking systems, defined processing and desk areas for shipping, and multiple departmental zones. Wave riders and pallet jacks operate throughout the racking areas, so you navigate an active warehouse floor with ongoing material movement. The role requires steel or safety toe shoes as part of the standard dress code for protection. Available shifts include options such as Sunday–Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., Monday–Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Sunday–Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., with the understanding that new hires do not start on Mondays or Fridays. The environment is fast-paced, structured, and safety-focused, with clear processes for picking, packing, and shipping orders.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
