THE ROLE:

As a Warehouse Cleaner, you will be working in a large food distribution facility in Woodstock, ON maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the warehouse. This is a great temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a reputable and growing distribution operation. You will be working as part of a team in dry, cooler, and freezer environments. This position is located in Woodstock, ON for a large-scale distribution facility.


AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

Day Shift: Monday to Friday – 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Fridays required until 5:00 PM)

Afternoon Shift: Sunday to Thursday – 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Midnight Shift: Sunday to Thursday – 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Place garbage into compactors safely

  • Collect damaged products and place them in designated staging areas
  • Maintain cleanliness in dry, cooler, and freezer environments
  • Follow all food safety and warehouse safety procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisors and Management


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a clear criminal record
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 70 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in cold/freezer environments daily
  • Strong attendance and punctuality
  • Must have steel toe safety boots
  • Must be comfortable performing heavy general labour duties
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Must be reliable and safety-conscious
