Job description

Summary:
Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Loader is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient loading of palletized product onto trailers in preparation for shipment to retail locations.

Essential Functions
  • Load palletized orders onto trailers using powered industrial equipment.
  • Stack and adjust cases on palletized orders as needed to ensure load stability.
  • Inspect palletized orders for damage and make corrections as necessary prior to shipment.
  • Safely operate dock plates before and after trailer loading.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including but not limited to stand-up forklifts, straddle trucks, walk-behind equipment, motorized pallet jacks, double pallet jacks, and RF equipment.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or product issues immediately.
  • Meet established productivity and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA standards.
  • Support warehouse security procedures as required.
  • Charge, change, or maintain equipment batteries as needed.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance, arriving on time and prepared to work assigned shifts.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.
Qualifications amp; Experience:
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work overtime, evenings, or weekends as needed to meet business demands.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform to standard in all warehouse departments, subject to reassignment via bidding process.
