Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and collaborative entry-level engineer with experience or interest in transportation engineering and bridges to work on challenging projects including bridges, retaining walls, dams, storm and traffic structures, inspections rehabilitations, load ratings, and assisting with construction engineering services. 

You will be responsible for providing basic project design through CAD drafting, performing research and writing technical reports, and traveling to job sites for observation, as needed. You will be able to collaborate with roadway, traffic, geotechnical, and stormwater engineers on projects that make a positive impact in our community while simultaneously offering you the ability to grow and pick up a wide array of skills.

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with structural emphasis or closely related field.
    • Master's degree, or in pursuit, a plus.
  • Ability to obtain Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certificate within 18 months of employment by passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
  • Candidates graduating in December 2026 are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • 0-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with MicroStation and AutoCAD Civil 3D, a plus.
