Pick-Packer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build a career with our Operations team as a Pick-Packer. This is a dynamic role where you will be a key part of our Operations team with objectives including:

  • Accurately organize shipments by carrier type.
  • Accurately pick and pack orders in a timely manner to meet pick times.
  • Effectively communicate with operations teams, to inform, provide solutions for customers and proactively solve problems.

Schedule: Variable days 5:00 AM until finished

Pay: $18.00/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Conduct routine inventory, counts and reports discrepancies.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, and pallet jacks.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed that are assigned by leadership.
  • Work closely with other warehouse team members and/or departments to ensure smooth and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Safely and securely pack products for shipment, ensuring packaging meets quality standards and protects items during transit.
  • Accurately pick and pack products from inventory shelves based on customer orders, ensuring the right items and quantities are selected.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring that stock levels are correct, and that inventory is stored in an organized manner and in its designated area.
  • Prepare items for shipment, including labeling packages, generating shipping documentation, and ensuring all orders are ready for dispatch in a timely manner.

Required:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, packing, or order fulfillment role is preferred, but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
  • Work in different temperatures (-10-to-80-degree room temperature).
  • Ability to possess basic math skills and have the capacity to retain numbers.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repetitively as well as bend and reach for product when needed.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to have strong organization skills and manage time efficiently to meet order deadlines.
  • Ability to accurately pick and pack orders, ensuring that all items are correctly selected and securely packaged.
  • Ability to self-motivate and develop relationships and work with a wide variety of people with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment, contributing to the overall success of the warehouse operations.
  • Ability to operate and understand mechanical operation of pallet jack, forklift, man-lift, and other such warehouse equipment.
