Position Summary

The Packout Associate is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders in a refrigerated production environment. This role ensures all items are selected according to order specifications, packaged correctly, and staged for distribution while maintaining strict quality, food safety, and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities

  •  Pick and fulfill customer orders accurately based on pick tickets, order sheets, or system instructions 
  •  Pack finished goods (meals, produce, or products) according to company standards 
  •  Verify item accuracy, quantities, and product quality before packing 
  •  Label, seal, and stage orders for delivery or distribution 
  •  Operate packing equipment and materials (scales, label printers, sealing equipment, etc.) 
  •  Maintain organization of inventory and finished goods within refrigerated storage areas 
  •  Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and proper product rotation procedures 
  •  Ensure compliance with food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, sanitation practices) 
  •  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment 
  •  Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets 
  •  Communicate any discrepancies, shortages, or quality issues to supervisors 
Qualifications

  •  Previous experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or food production environments preferred
