Summary:

The Picker is responsible for accurately locating, selecting, and preparing products for shipment based on customer orders. This role ensures orders are picked efficiently, and in a timely manner while maintaining inventory accuracy and a clean, organized warehouse.

Requirements

  • Print and sort customer orders each day.
  • Pick customer orders accurately using pick tickets, scanners, or warehouse management systems.
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and product condition before staging orders.
  • Stage completed orders for packing and shipping.
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Restock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
  • Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or shortages to management.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as authorized. (Training provided)
  • Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse processes.
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, packing, and other warehouse duties as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse, shipping, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Any other tasks/duties as assigned or deemed necessary by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse, order picking, or distribution experience preferred.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret pick tickets, work orders, and product information.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn warehouse management systems and scanning equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to order accuracy and inventory integrity.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
