What is a pick pack?

Pick Pack jobs involve selecting (picking) products from a warehouse or storage location and packaging (packing) them for shipment to customers or retail locations. Employees in these roles are responsible for ensuring that the correct items are picked according to order specifications, packed securely, and labeled properly. Pick packers often use handheld scanners or inventory management systems to track orders and inventory. This job requires attention to detail, efficiency, and sometimes physical stamina, as it may involve standing, lifting, or moving throughout a shift.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as a pick pack?

To thrive as a Pick Pack worker, you need attention to detail, basic math skills, and often a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, and inventory tracking tools is typically required. Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team are valuable soft skills in this role. These skills ensure accurate order fulfillment, efficient warehouse operations, and high customer satisfaction.

What are common challenges faced by pick pack workers, and how can these be managed?

Pick Pack workers often face challenges such as maintaining accuracy under time pressure, managing physical demands like lifting and standing for extended periods, and adapting to rapidly changing order volumes. To manage these, it’s important to develop efficient picking techniques, stay organized, and use ergonomic practices to reduce strain. Open communication with supervisors and teamwork can also help address issues quickly and keep workflows smooth.

Job description

Job Overview:
We’re not looking for average. We’re building an elite crew of warehouse warriors who live for accuracy, hustle like it’s their DNA, and never miss a detail. Our 3PL warehouse currently serves 20+ e-commerce brands with thousands of orders moving weekly. This isn’t a casual job — this is a fast-paced, precision-driven environment where your performance directly impacts customer experience. You will join a hard-working team of dedicated and detail-oriented packers who plays a crucial role in the packaging process, ensuring that products are prepared for shipment accurately and efficiently every day.

If you hate details, hard work, or standing all day — STOP READING NOW.

What You'll Be Doing (Every. Single. Day.):
  • Pick & Pack customer orders with ruthless accuracy and efficiency ensuring that all items are properly labeled and documented — some clients have up to 50+ SKUs. Mistakes aren’t an option.
  • Read packing slips like a hawk and make zero assumptions. You'll be trained — but your brain will do the heavy lifting.
  • Lift boxes (up to 50 lbs) without hesitation. If you’re afraid of heavy lifting, this ain’t for you.
  • Stand all shift long — we move, not sit.
  • Print shipping labels using ShipHero, ShipStation, or similar software. (Bonus points if you already know them.)
  • Use computers comfortably — nothing fancy, but you'll need to process returns using tools like Microsoft Excel.
  • Keep error rates extremely low. We pride ourselves on razor-sharp fulfillment.

The Right Fit Will Have:
  • An obsessive attention to detail — if you’re the type to triple-check your own work, you're who we want.
  • A strong work ethic — if you show up late, slack off, or dodge hard work, you won’t last here.
  • Speed and stamina — you’ll be on your feet, moving fast, staying sharp all day.
  • The ability to work independently and take pride in flawless execution.
  • Confidence with computers, barcodes, and learning new software quickly.
  • A proactive attitude towards teamwork & collaboration within the warehouse setting.

Bonus Points (Not Required but Awesome):
  • Experience with ShipHero, ShipStation, Shopify, or similar shipping platforms.
  • Prior work experience in 3PL, e-commerce, or warehouse/fulfillment environments.
  • Can identify 50 SKUs by sight, blindfolded, and in your sleep (kidding... kind of).

What You Get:
  • A real team environment where slackers don’t last and winners thrive.
  • A clear path to grow — if you bring the hustle, we bring the opportunities.
  • Competitive pay, consistent hours, overtime opportunity, bonuses, paid Holidays and so much more.
  • The satisfaction of getting real work done that matters — every day.

Who Should NOT Apply:
  • If you need reminders to stay focused.
  • If you can’t lift 50 lbs regularly or be on your feet all day.
  • If “close enough” is good enough for you.
  • If you’re not willing to work hard, stay sharp, and show up on time — every time.

Work Schedule:
  • Must be able to work overtime.
  • Must be available to work on Sundays.
  • 8:30am - 5pm; Mon, Tues, Thu, Fri and Sun. (Wednesday and Saturday off).

Pay & Benefits:
  • $19-22/hr starting rate.
  • Bonuses throughout the year based on company & personal performance.
  • PTO, paid sick days, paid non-working Holidays.
  • 401K and Health Insurance.
  • Free Snacks.
  • An environment where people are treated with respect & kindness.

Still Interested?
If this sounds like your kind of challenge, apply now. We don’t care about your resume fluff — we care about your work ethic, your eye for detail, and your ability to move fast without mistakes.
This isn’t just a warehouse job. We help brands thrive. Pick. Pack. Ship. Repeat. Like a pro.
