Job Purpose

As a Engineering Clerical Assistant at Bren-Tronics, part of EnerSys and a manufacture of advanced portable power solutions we are seeking a motivated and organized Engineering Clerical Assistant to support our engineering team with a wide range of administrative and document control tasks. The ideal candidate is a self starter with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. Basic English/Spanish translation capability is a strong plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide basic English/Spanish translation for documents and communications (strong plus)
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Perform photocopying, scanning, filing, and general document management
  • Utilize Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Expedite engineering documentation through company processes, including collecting and routing items for signature approvals
  • Perform pick up and drop off of small equipment or documents as needed
  • Support engineering staff with administrative tasks and clerical assistance
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Track and follow up on pending documentation, approvals, and requests
  • Assist in general office tasks to help keep engineering operations running smoothly
  • Handling small but essential support tasks such as retrieving, delivering, and organizing hardware and documentation
Qualifications
  • US Person required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior administrative clerical experience a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and proactively; self starter with ambition
  • Basic bilingual English/Spanish ability strongly preferred (basic written translations)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Reliable, professional, and comfortable interacting with multiple departments
  • Positive attitude and willingness to jump-in wherever needed
