Warehouse Associate - 1st Shift

$16.50/hour | Monday-Friday | 1st Shift | Grinnell, IA

Looking for steady, full-time warehouse work with a consistent weekday schedule? Join the Brownells team in Grinnell as a Warehouse Associate and help pick, pack, receive and ship products to customers across the country.

No warehouse experience is required. If you're dependable, ready to work and willing to learn, we'll provide the training you need to be successful.

What You'll Do

As a Warehouse Associate, you'll support day-to-day order fulfillment and inventory operations, including:

  • Pick products accurately to fill customer orders
  • Pack and prepare orders for shipment
  • Receive, stock and organize incoming inventory
  • Use handheld scanners and warehouse inventory systems
  • Move products throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Support other fulfillment areas as needed to meet customer demand

 

What We're Looking For

You don't need previous warehouse experience to apply. Successful team members come from warehouse, manufacturing, retail, customer service and many other backgrounds.

You should be:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Dependable and able to maintain regular attendance
  • Comfortable working on your feet throughout the shift
  • Able to lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable using basic technology and willing to learn our systems
  • Able to work accurately and safely in a team environment
  • Available to work overtime as business needs require

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

 

Schedule

Full-time, 1st shift
Monday-Friday
Regular schedule: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM

During periods of higher order volume, including our busy fall and holiday seasons, team members may work extended weekday shifts and other overtime as needed.
