Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
- Experience with tracheostomy care, BiPAP/CPAP management, cardioversion/defibrillation, dysrhythmia recognition/management, IV starts, central line/PICC care, rapid infuser use, and feeding tube management
- Proficiency in Epic charting system
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients in the emergency setting, providing high-quality nursing care
- Perform and support procedural sedation and rapid sequence intubation (RSI)
- Manage drains, Port-a-Cath/vascular device access and care
- Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy, including syringe pumps and triple-lumen catheters
- Conduct patient education and support family involvement in care
- Interpret lab results and vital signs to make informed decisions regarding patient care
