Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Infusion

Pay Rate: $50+ per hour (base) : Opportunities for increased pay rates by case type and complexity

Always Compassionate Health is a Licensed Home Care Services Agency providing exceptional community-based nursing care across the New York metro area. We are expanding our Home Infusion Nursing Team and are seeking experienced RNs who bring clinical expertise, professionalism, and compassion to every patient encounter.

Responsibilities

Deliver a wide range of infusion therapies in the comfort of patients' homes, including antibiotics, biologics, IV fluids, TPN/PPN, IVIG, blood products, and specialty medications.

Perform PICC line and port care, dressing changes, and the access/de-access of implanted ports and Broviac lines.

Conduct patient assessments, document findings, and collaborate with the infusion pharmacy, physicians, and internal clinical teams to ensure continuity of care.

Educate patients and caregivers on therapy administration, side-effect monitoring, and safety protocols.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation using electronic systems (EMR).

Participate in ongoing clinical training and skills validation as needed.

Qualifications

Active New York State RN license

Minimum 3 years of Infusion Nursing experience (home care, hospital, or outpatient)

Competence with portable IV pumps, venous access, and infusion device troubleshooting

BLS required from either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross

Reliable transportation to travel between patient homes across boroughs

Strong communication and customer-service skills when working with patients, families, and clinical partners

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Preferred Skills

Supervisory or mentorship experience with field nurses

Knowledge of HIPAA, infection control, and home-care best practices

Comfort working independently and managing multiple cases

Experience in the ER or ICU is preferred
