The Science & Mathematics Department at Simpson University, Redding, CA, is seeking candidates to join the adjunct instructor pool for Kinesiology for the upcoming academic year. Currently, the department welcomes applications for instructors with the qualifications to teach introductory or upper division lecture and/or lab courses. Note that an appointment in one semester is not a guarantee of an appointment in a subsequent semester.

Qualifications:

·         M.S. or Ph.D. in Kinesiology or related field

·         Ability to teach courses in person at our Redding, CA campus

·         Teaching experience preferred

·         Prepare weekly lectures, classroom/lab activities, quizzes, and exams

·         Deliver courses in-person at the Redding campus

·         Utilize Canvas for course management and delivery of content

·         Grade student work in a timely manner

·         Work with a diverse student body population

·         Express an effusive Christian faith based in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
