Job SummaryThis position is responsible for managing and leading a team of product managers that own multiple Data Science Products or Portfolios of Products. They will work closely with customers to understand their needs and translate these needs into a Data Science Product or Portfolio that adds business value. They will be able to write technical requirements, understand importance of various product features, prioritize development, and coordinate across all interested stakeholders. They will promote usage and understanding of the product across a broad audience. They are ultimately responsible and accountable for successful delivery and implementation of the Product. Data Scientists And Data Engineers working on a product. They will have an indirect reporting relationship to the product manager.

Required Job Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree and 7 years of work experience in a mathematical, statistical, computer science, engineering, physics, economics or related quantitative field OR Actuarial credential or 2 or more advanced degrees and 6 years of work experience in a mathematical, statistical, computer science, engineering, physics, economics or related quantitative field OR Ph.D. and 4 years of work experience in a mathematical, statistical, computer science, engineering, physics, economics or related quantitative field
* 4 years leadership and/or management experience.
* Learning and growth mindset.
* Customer-focused.
* Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
* Must demonstrate proficiency in at least five of the following six areas: 1) data analysis and relational-style query languages; 2) machine learning and/or statistical modeling; 3) data visualization; 4) a high-level programming language; 5) distributed computing. 6) understanding of healthcare.
* User-centered and iterative data science product development.
* Ability to lead the delivery of multiple complex analytics or data science projects and products.
* A track record of developing, coaching, managing, and leading junior analytics, data science, or product management staff and providing thought leadership.
* Ability to influence and steer data-driven decision making in a matrixed environment.

*Overseeing the annual budget and allocating resources for various projects and operational needs.

*Translating needs and initiatives into compelling business cases.

*Conducting cost-benefit analyses to justify investments and ensure ROI.


Preferred Job Qualifications:
* Masters degree in a computational field, or Bachelors degree with significant healthcare experience
* SQL and Hive
* Experience with Iterative / Agile / Scrum development
