Physician practice operations refer to the management and coordination of the daily activities and processes within a medical practice or clinic. This includes overseeing staffing, scheduling, billing, patient flow, regulatory compliance, and financial performance. Familiarity with practice management software, electronic health records (EHR) systems, and sometimes certifications like CMPE (Certified Medical Practice Executive) are typically required.
