Job description

Who We Are:
Watkins Distributing is a family-owned and operated beverage distribution company that has proudly served the communities of Idaho and Montana for four generations.

Job Summary:
The Part Time Beverage Merchandiser is responsible for visiting retail accounts to stock, display, and rotate company products across their assigned route.

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock and merchandise a range of beverage products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Replenish shelves, coolers, displays, and backroom inventory with company products.
  • Rotate product to maintain freshness and meet expiration date requirements.
  • Build, maintain, and take down promotional displays, endcaps, and other merchandising features.
  • Place and maintain point-of-sale materials, signage, and promotional decals.
  • Safely use manual handling equipment, including hand trucks, to transport and stock product.
  • Travel between assigned retail locations using a company or personal vehicle as directed.
  • Follow merchandising plans and direction provided by sales representatives and merchandising supervisors.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Self-starter who works well independently with minimal oversight.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with a customer-focused approach.
  • Comfortable in a physically active role with frequent movement throughout the day.
  • Works well in a flexible, fast-paced environment outside of a traditional office setting.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and no major violations.
  • Reliable personal transportation for use throughout the workday and proof of current auto insurance. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and move beverage cases weighing 20–30 lbs. Duties include frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
  • Work is performed independently across multiple retail locations and may include early mornings, weekends, and peak holiday periods as needed.
