Physical security is crucial for preventing loss, ensuring safety, and supporting overall organizational security strategies. The duties and responsibilities of someone who works in physical security include working to monitor surveillance equipment or guard a place or person. People in this profession are called security guards or security agents. Our employees act like owners, who take initiatives to lead and are treated like family. We are relentless and see work ethic and accountability as the baseline in the pursuit of excellence.
Why This Opportunity?
  • Sell a broad portfolio of industry-leading technology solutions instead of a single product.
  • Represent a trusted Midwest company with more than 75 years of proven success.
  • Be backed by experienced engineering, estimating, and operations teams that help you win business.
  • Earn a competitive base salary with uncapped commission potential.
  • Build a long-term book of business while growing your career with a company that continues to grow.
  • This isn't a transactional sales role. It's a consultative position where success comes from building trust, understanding customer needs, and delivering technology solutions that create long-term partnerships.

What You'll Do
  • Develop new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
  • Meet with prospective customers to understand their business objectives, identify technology challenges, and present solutions that deliver measurable ROI.
  • Present and demonstrate Kidwell's physical security, access control, video surveillance, structured cabling, healthcare technology, and audio/visual solutions.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers by serving as a trusted technology advisor.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities for additional services and future projects.
  • Collaborate with Kidwell's engineering, estimating, and operations teams to develop customized solutions and competitive proposals.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM tools and consistently achieve activity and revenue goals.
  • Build strategic relationships with manufacturer partners and stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Represent Kidwell professionally at customer meetings, networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.

What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of business-to-business sales experience (technology, construction, security, or related industry preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree or Associate degree preferred; equivalent sales or industry experience will be considered.
  • A genuine interest in technology and a desire to continuously learn new products and solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented with a proven ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and developing a structured sales pipeline.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Nebraska with occasional overnight travel.

We Offer
  • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission potential
  • Career advancement opportunities
  • Paid manufacturer certifications and professional development
  • Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Paid maternity and paternity leave
  • Clothing allowance
  • Company-provided technology and tools needed for success

Why Kidwell?

We help businesses, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies design, install, and support innovative technology solutions that improve security, connectivity, and communication.
When you join Kidwell, you're joining a team that values integrity, collaboration, innovation, and customer success. You'll have the opportunity to work with industry-leading manufacturers, develop lasting customer relationships, and build a rewarding career with a company committed to your long-term success.
