Physical Security Specialist
On-site role (5 days/week in office) at our Renton office. Candidates must reside within commutable distance of that location.

As a member of the Physical Security team, our Physical Security Specialist is responsible for providing a secure physical environment for people and facilities by designing, installing, upgrading, managing, reporting and maintaining new and existing physical security systems. These including badge access, cameras and other hardware and software applications with DTS, InfoSec, REAF, HR and security vendor teams, under the direction or coaching of Physical Security leadership. This position requires the use of good technical, interpersonal, administrative, organizational skills and keeping informed of the latest cutting-edge technologies and technics used within the Physical Security and IT fields - all in service of creating a person-focused health care experience.

What You Bring to Cambia:
Qualifications:
The Physical Security Operations and Technology Administrator would have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 3 years of experience or a high school diploma and 7 years of technology experience, including 5 years of physical security operations and leadership experience with oversight of Security Operations Center staff, systems operation of different types of Security Access Control, Camera and Alarm system software and hardware as well as dispatch/call center operations.
Prior military or law enforcement experience preferred
Required Licenses, Certifications, Registration, Etc.
  • PSP (Physical Security Professional) certification preferred.
  • First Aid, CPR and AED certification required.

Skills and Attributes:
  • Physical Security Systems Expertise: Proficient in physical security software and applications including access control, badging, video surveillance, and visitor management systems across multi-platform environments, with hands-on experience programming access levels, time zones, and system configurations.
  • Technical Proficiency & Infrastructure Knowledge: Skilled in Microsoft Office, core DTS/InfoSec technologies, and infrastructure management practices including change, problem, release, and configuration management; experienced in hardware/software upgrades and system lifecycle management.
  • Security Strategy & Risk Management: Able to assess environments, recommend and implement proactive security strategies, identify and mitigate risks, and plan/document system upgrades with a forward-thinking approach.
  • Security Operations & Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage Security Operations Center (SOC) vendor teams, oversee projects, navigate challenges, and deliver results while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Communication & Customer Service: Effectively communicates complex technical issues to all levels of management verbally and in writing; demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a collaborative work ethic.
  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Quickly adapts to evolving technologies and methodologies, applies strong analytical and diagnostic skills to resolve system issues, and leverages AI tools to enhance productivity and decision-making.

What You Will Do at Cambia:
  • Security Operations Center (SOC) Management: Oversee daily SOC operations including vendor and dispatch officer management, post procedure updates, emergency coordination, inventory oversight, and law enforcement liaison; serve as a critical support function for business continuity and disaster recovery drills.
  • Physical Security Systems Administration: Administer and maintain NVRs, cameras, security panels, servers, databases, and access control systems across multiple Cambia locations; oversee installation, configuration, performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and patching for all physical security infrastructure.
  • Technical Support & Issue Resolution: Act as primary alternate contact for first-level physical security hardware and application support; troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, escalate as needed, and partner with DTS to address network-related impacts to security operations.
  • Program Administration & Compliance: Assist in administering the written Physical Security Program; document and track all system changes, manage employee access reporting, conduct security audits, maintain legal and statistical records, and review SOC policy and procedural updates.
  • Vendor & Project Management: Manage vendor relationships performing physical security functions; review and oversee work orders, repairs, and contracts; recommend new vendors or system enhancements; and contribute as an active team member on projects, delivering timely updates on assigned action items.
  • Training, Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Provide technical training to SOC officers and business partners; research and recommend software improvements, enhancements, or replacements; monitor industry trends; and share technical knowledge to improve team performance, system efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Work Environment
  • Generally works in office environment, may be required to respond to emergencies.
  • On call 24/7.
  • Travel to sites as needed.

Renton, Washington: The expected hiring range is $33.49 - $45.31, the full salary range is $31.50 - $51.30 and the bonus target is 10%.
