Job description

You will serve as a Physical Scientist in the Warfighting Support Center (NP2) of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.Qualifications:In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience independently leading scientific projects from concept to completion.
  • Experience managing, manipulating, and disseminating complex geospatial and scientific data using geospatial (GIS) tools and comprehensive metadata practices to ensure data interoperability.
  • Experience presenting complex scientific and technical information, including advising senior leadership on topics such as policy and program direction.
  • Experience providing technical guidance on proper analysis and data fusion techniques to junior team members.
