Position Overview: As a Weight Loss Specialist, you'll work one-on-one with patients to guide them through their weight loss journey. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about nutrition, fitness, behavior change, and thrives in a patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized coaching to help patients achieve their weight loss and health goals.
  • Educate patients on nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and behavior change techniques.
  • Take body composition and vitals measurements (training provided).
  • Use computer-based tracking systems to monitor patient progress and overall health.
  • Coordinate with medical providers and staff to ensure the best possible care.
  • Maintain a professional, compassionate, and motivating presence in the clinic.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Community Health, Exercise & Wellness, Exercise Science, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of health and wellness principles, with expertise in weight management, nutrition, physical activity, and behavior change strategies.
  • Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience teaching health-based lessons and working one-on-one with clients.
  • Punctual, reliable, and professional in appearance and conduct.
  • Passion for health coaching and helping others.

Hours:
Monday-Thursday 8 am - 5 pm
*A Personal Training Certification is useful, but not required.
*Spanish or Portuguese speaking skills are useful, but not required.
