• 10+ years of experience, coming from either an engineering or network operations background.
• The System Engineer/Architect will be in charge of all technical direction for our next generation Wi-Fi services platform.
• The platform itself serves 50+ airlines worldwide servicing hundred of thousands of passengers a day.
• Expert knowledge of Service Oriented and Micro-service based Architectures, Distributed Systems
• Expert knowledge of HTTP Protocol, DNS, TCP/IP
• Knowledge of Networking, Firewalls, WAFs, VLANs, PCI, Satellite Connectivity
• Experience with High Traffic, High Availability Systems, System Monitoring, Alerting and Logging Systems
• Knowledge of Linux, Database, NOSQL and In-Memory Stores, Analytics Data Design
• Knowledge of Event Stream processing and ETL, Kafka, Spark, MQTT, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ
• Knowledge of Virtualization and orchestration paradigms such as Docker, Kubernetes, VSphere, Zookeeper
