Photography and videography share many skills like camera operation and editing, but photography focuses on capturing still images, while videography involves recording moving images with sound. They most often take pictures of people, but they also photograph places, artwork, animals, and a wide range of other subjects. Before the photo shoot, photographers offer advice about locations, settings, and poses based on their expertise. Standard tools used by a photographer include a camera, tripod, different types of camera lenses, photo editing software, and backdrops. Photographers may work independently on a contract basis, or they may work for a company or agency as a staff photographer.

Leading Sports Photographer in the Northwest is hiring. Fall, Winter & Spring work. Mostly afternoons on the weekdays at schools shooting high school and middle school teams and individuals and most Saturdays shooting youth league teams and individuals. Action Photography also a part of this job for certain events throughout the year. Looking for energetic, sports oriented and kid friendly candidates. Photography experience not mandatory, but helpful, as we provide a full training experience with in the field training. Phone interviews and in person interviews will take place toward the second week of August, followed by in the field training starting as soon as August 17th. Candidates must live in the Greater Washington County/PDX area. Please provide your information and resume to be considered for this position.
