Job Summary:
Harmann Studios Inc. is seeking a versatile and creative individual for the Graphic Designer. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of artistic skills, technical proficiency, and a passion for visual storytelling. This role involves creating high-quality graphic designs and contributing to various marketing and client projects. Additional duties as assigned will support the overall success of the studio.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed color correction and retouching on photographs to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Assist in the design and layout of memory books, print materials, and customized products.
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Lightroom) and other design tools to produce high-quality graphics and images.
  • Maintain organized records of all image files, ensuring proper storage and backup.
  • Develop and design marketing materials including brochures, flyers, banners, and social media graphics.
  • Proficiently extract images for PNG output and background insertion. Including creation of digital backgrounds for individual groups.
  • Composite digital images for multiple uses.
  • Edit and retouch photographs to enhance image quality and meet client specifications.
  • Work as a member of the production team to meet deadlines and fulfill client requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
  • Profile paper and color manage printers to provide accurate and appealing color in portraits.
  • Openness to growth and research to maintain knowledge of sports trends for graphics and social media content.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, photography, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in graphic design and photography.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom) and other relevant design software.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of graphic design and photography projects.
  • Excellent eye for detail in editing images, with an emphasis on enhancing facial elements.
  • Ability to learn and manipulate multiple formats of print presses to adjust them to desired output color.
  • Knowledge of how custom printer profiles are made and implemented in a print shop environment.
  • Solid knowledge of computers and working with monitors to display color accurately.
  • Positive attitude, eager to provide assistance wherever needed for our customers and team members.
  • Knowledge of Google Suites preferred.
