Job Summary: The Solar Site Assessor will conduct on-site studies for residential projects. Your evaluation will consist of taking measurements, completing shade reporting, and the overall qualification for solar panel installation.
Job Duties:
Documenting electrical set-up and capabilities and any existing structure or facility variances
Survey residential home projects with a drone, taking photos at various heights and angles
Attending project, weekly operational, and safety meetings
Effective, accurate & timely communications with Service and Install Dept.
Daily reporting, Computer Skills, Emails, Uploads, and SWF reporting
Assist other departments as directed
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competency:
Possess strong problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Excellent customer service skills required
Must be highly organized and process-oriented
Education and Experience Required:
Part 107 FAA certification
At least 1 year of experience in construction, solar or PV strongly preferred
OSHA 10 required.
Valid Apprentice Electrician license required
Must have a valid state driver's license
Must be willing to travel/commute to various job sites at least 40%, including some weekends, are requested.
Prior experience and knowledge of residential electrical projects.
Must be able to navigate residential roofing systems including multi-story structures
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Ability to withstand heights, be on roofs and climb ladders
Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Ability to bend, stretch, squat, and lift.
Ability to work in 100+ degree weather
