Job description

High School Portrait Photographer - Full Time / Seasonal - Hourly.

School photography company in the San Fernando Valley, specializing in capturing great photos of high school students is looking for photographers to be part of our team. Full time/5 days a week positions available mid-May through October. Shifts vary, 9 am to 5 pm or 12 pm to 8 pm with some overtime required. The studio is open 7 days a week. 5 day availability required.
If you have some retail/customer service experience and are a people person, energetic & creative, and willing to learn, this might be the career for you. We offer paid training and competitive wages

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare studio room for photoshoots by setting up necessary lights and ensuring that the space is clean.
  • Meet and greet clients as necessary prior to the photo shoot during the check-in process.
  • Learn company photography practices to conform with an automated workflow.
  • Image editing and proofing of client photos.
  • Ability to photograph 20 - 25 portrait sessions per day.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of digital SLR cameras is a must.
  • Applicants must be able to lift and carry at least 35 pounds and be able to stand for long periods.
  • Applicants must have a car for transportation to some off-site location work.
  • Must be available for a full-time position and willing to work weekends.
  • Live Scan Required.
