Inter-State Studio is a family-owned school photography and yearbook company that has been successfully serving schools for 90 years.

Position Overview

This role is a mix of hands-on technical work and creative support, helping maintain and manage photography equipment while also assisting with company photography and video projects. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities

Equipment Testing & Maintenance
  • Test photography equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and performance
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs
  • Help identify and resolve equipment issues before failures occur
Inventory & Distribution
  • Track and maintain equipment inventory across the company
  • Assist with audits and inventory organization
  • Coordinate equipment assignment, shipment, and distribution to field teams
Photography & Video Support
  • Assist with company photography and video projects
  • Set up and remove photography equipment as needed
  • Support photo operations with technical and logistical needs

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous photography experience required
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort handling multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems.
  • Dependable, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in where needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in active, hands-on environments
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain insurability
