We are looking for a motivated Associate Photo Editor to be a part of a groundbreaking online news-team forFoxNews.com&FoxBusiness.com. As Associate Photo Editor, you can handle a fast-paced environment and are creative, flexible and have a ''can-do'' attitude. You are willing to learn, enjoy collaborating with a team and are eager to advance within the company.

You will be offered the following shift: Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM ET - 7:00 PM ET

**Hours are subject to change. You must be available to work alternate hours when needed.**

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Editing and optimizing original photography and video for web and devices

  • Booking travel for photographers

  • Assigning photographers to assignments

  • Assist with handling invoices, and tracking billing

  • Adhering to, and auditing detailed SEO requirements

  • Incorporating edits from supervisors

  • Utilizing real-time analytics tools to track the success of photo & video-driven stories

  • Creating and updating slideshows to capture important and compelling events

  • Communicating with news professionals in an assignment desk setting

  • Maintaining database of contacts and story ideas

  • Working with all verticals (assisting) including, Entertainment, US News, Lifestyle, Business, and World Teams by pitching visual stories and pulling in wire and partner content

  • Monitoring social media platforms and forums for the latest breaking or trending news items of interest to Fox News readers

  • Multitasking on tight deadlines in high-pressure environment

  • Prioritizing assignments and meeting deadlines

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • A Bachelor's degree in political science, communications, journalism, graphic arts or other related discipline

  • One year working in daily breaking news environment

  • Ability to work under deadline pressures with editors and reporters

  • Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays

  • Proven creative mind with a great eye for detail

  • Experience in Photoshop, Premiere, Bridge, and/or Lightroom

  • Prior experience working in a DAM, or CMSis highly desired

  • An interest in photography is a plus

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $60,000.00-75,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
