Job Description
We're growing! Printerpix is an online photo and communications retailer that provides innovative customizable products to a global market. Due to recent international expansion, we seek to add the talents of a Production Line Operator to one of the industry's largest image processing facilities in the industry based in Lake Mary, Florida.
The Production Line Operator will serve as an important key element in the crafting and creation of varying Printerpix products. These individuals will oversee a variety of warehouse and production tasks. These tasks may include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following: assembly, pick/pack, order inspection, and workplace organization.
The ideal candidate will possess a background in the manufacturing industry, with a proven proficiency to produce quality work expediently. To add, this person will maintain an ability to manage time effectively-ensuring that business goals are met daily. Furthermore, the potential candidate will possess a passion for serving the Printerpix customer--by guaranteeing the superior quality of each and every product produced.
QUALIFICATIONS:
โ€ข Picking and packing orders in a fast-paced environment.
โ€ข Reviews orders for shipment--examining the quality of each and every product before releasing to the customer
โ€ข Loading/unloading supply shipments from external vendors. This task is expected to be performed in a safe and efficient manner.
โ€ข Moves product to storage areas using the proper equipment, efficiently stacks, and stores the merchandise in the appropriate area according to established sequences and procedures.
โ€ข Ensures all workspaces are clear and clean before leaving each business day.
โ€ข Operates any materials handling equipment safely and efficiently and according to the proper procedures.
โ€ข Maintains detailed logs of work performance and quantity of work produced each day.
โ€ข Ensures a clean, neat and orderly work area, cleans and maintains supplies, tools and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations, Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) standards.
โ€ข Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
โ€ข Maintains all assigned material handling equipment in good condition to ensure adherence safety standards.
โ€ข Participating in cycle counting
โ€ข Performing labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed
โ€ข Examining and inspecting stock items for wear or defects and reporting damage to supervisor
โ€ข Keeping records on the items received or distributed
โ€ข Maintains excellent communication with team lead and management staff regarding work instruction and progress made throughout the day.
