Job description

About Us

McAlister Photoworks is a very small (there are 4 of us) local, veteran owned business in Columbus, OH. We are social, rewarding, supportive and our goal is to provide the best photo-finishing and custom printing experience to all of our customers!

Our work environment includes:

  • Relaxed atmosphere
  • Casual work attire
  • Safe work environment

The Job

Our company is hiring a Photo Lab Assistant/CSR to provide responsive customer service to our wide range of consumers. If you're into film, helping people, and owning your job, then this is a great place to work! Candidates for this role should have some experience in film developing, especially black & white. You should have strong communication skills and the ability to listen to and connect with customers and teammates. Customer service is paramount, as the majority of your time will be spent customer-facing (probably - we have weird spurts of busy). You should have the ability to prioritize tasks and be detail-oriented. I'm looking for someone to take ownership of the job and do whatever needs doing (not standing around looking at your phone - we're all addicted, but there's a time and place). Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to ensure that our customers are happy with our service and products.

Oh yeah...

We just reopened our portrait studio, so if you have experience in that type of photography, that would be a bonus. We're hoping to grow that side of the business from zero to something special.

Anticipated schedule is M W Th F Sa 10pm to 5pm.
