The Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law is a nonpartisan law and policy institute thatย seeksย to improve the systems of democracy and justice in the United States. We work to hold our political institutions and laws accountable to the twin American ideals of democracy and equal justice for all. We are seeking an intern to join ourย Communicationsย departmentย on the Design teamย to provide design and administrative support toย staffs.ย
Note:ย This internship is in-person at ourย New Yorkย office.ย
Responsibilities:ย ย
The intern willย assistย with graphic design, archival and photo research, and administrative work for the Brennan Center, including but not limitedย toย coordinating meetings, and drafting routine correspondence through email. Additionally, there will be opportunities to attend andย observeย substantive meetings, events, and conversations on program work.ย Applicantย must be open to evolving responsibilities.ย
In addition to duties listed above, specific responsibilities for the Design team include:ย
Supportingย development of institutional, campaign, and brand videos/graphics; motion and still research,ย catalogingย and organization of visual assetsย
Qualifications:ย ย
The ideal candidates are independent self-starters; detail-oriented; energetic; punctual; and highly organized. Interns must also have excellent design skills, as well as a passion for our issues.ย
