Responsibilities:

  • Inspects construction contracts and activities for water and wastewater facility projects
  • Reviews plans and specifications for constructibility, accuracy, and potential issues
  • Plans, schedules, and conducts comprehensive site inspections
  • Coordinates construction-related system shutdowns and outages with client facilities
  • Prepares detailed inspection reports and maintains thorough daily logs
  • Organizes and updates all project documentation, including photo records
  • Tracks construction progress, field changes, and as-built conditions with precision
  • Develops monthly estimates of completed construction quantities
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with contractors, consultants, and project owners

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of standard construction specifications, codes, and special standards for water and wastewater facility projects
  • Proficient in construction methods, materials, and equipment used in utility and infrastructure work
  • Strong understanding of soil compaction techniques, density testing procedures, and concrete handling, placement, curing, and sampling practices
