Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inspector to join our team in Savannah, Georgia. The Inspector will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and compliance of wastewater treatment projects. The ideal candidate will have an inspection background and willing to grow and learn on the job.Key Responsibilities:Construction Observation: Monitor and document the Contractor's on-site activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, safety requirements, and environmental standards.Contract Compliance: Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFI's and change orders for technical accuracy and field applicability.Coordination & Liaison: Serve as a daily point of contact between the Contractor, Engineer, and Owner. Assist in interpreting plans and resolving technical issues as they arise in the field.Scheduling Support: Track project milestones, critical path activities, and identify scheduling conflicts or delays.Field Documentation: Maintain daily field reports, photo logs, marked-up record drawings, and issue logs.Material & Equipment Inspection: Verify that all materials and equipment conform to approved submittals and are properly stored, handled, and installed.Meetings & Communication: Attend progress meetings, site walks, and inspections.
