We are seeking a motivated and experienced Field Supervisor to oversee field inspection operations across Melbourne, Port Saint Lucie, and West Palm Beach, Florida. This is a field-based leadership role ideal for a hands-on professional with strong fiber construction knowledge, a passion for team development, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
As a Field Supervisor, you will serve as the key liaison between inspectors, customers, and management while ensuring construction quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position offers significant field engagement, regular travel throughout your assigned territory, and the opportunity to directly impact the success of critical fiber infrastructure projects.
Schedule & Travel

  • Field-based position covering Melbourne, Port Saint Lucie, West Palm Beach, and Occasionally Broward County
  • Schedule is based on operational needs and project demands
  • Regular travel throughout the assigned territory required
  • Weekly visits to inspectors in their respective work yards and project areas
Qualifications

  • Fiber construction experience is required
  • One to two years of supervisory experience OR four to five years of field inspector experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with technology; Reporting systems, databases, and documentation platforms
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer managers and supervisors
  • Recruit, train, mentor, assess, and develop field personnel when applicable
  • Motivate and coach team members through constructive feedback and professional development
  • Manage personnel matters, including performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and timecard approvals
  • Conduct routine field visits and travel throughout Florida as required
  • Serve as the primary liaison between inspectors, customer inspector managers, and company leadership
  • Monitor inspector entries within customer databases, including the SVA Portal, to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Oversee inspection photo documentation within Dropbox, ensuring uploads are complete, properly labeled, and meet quality standards
  • Lead regular team meetings to address operational issues, share best practices, and promote accountability
