Job Description

Description/Duties:

  • The student event photographer is expected to produce photographic content (portraits, action shots, etc.)

  • The Photographer must work in a timely manner.

  • The student event photographer is responsible for not only taking photos but also editing photos, uploading the best shots and keeping organized digital folders

  • The photographer responsible for attending each (weekly) editorial staff meeting.ย 

  • The photographer should be able to bring ideas to the brainstorming sessions, follow up on tasks, and work semi-independently.ย 

  • Photographersย  must have an up-to-dateย understanding of photo editing and photo editing platforms

Stipulations:ย 

  • Must be a registered La Sierra student

  • Must completeย Student Authorization Form via Etrieve with Silvia Stenner (Office of Student Life)ย 

  • Must have received Work Clearance Approval from Human Resources before taking on assignments

  • Must be familiar with Square Spaceย 

Expectations:ย 

  • Photographer is not to exceed more than 6 hours clocked in per-pay period (2-week pay period)ย
