ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Photo Assistant Manager will effectively operate the Photo Concession Facilities at the Banff Gondola. Focused on guest service, an engaged team and generating maximum revenue through sales of souvenir photos. Responsibilities Includes reporting on: purchase orders, receiving reports, department payroll, annual labour budget, and annual report.

  • Lead, scheduling and guest service and sales training.
  • Developing, implementing and inspire the photo teams. superior sales and customer service
  • Coordinating new inventory purchases with retail/photo manager
  • Ensuring that all department operations are properly executed, and all company policies and procedures are followed particularly health and safety
  • Maintain POS system and recommend ancillary revenue products associated with souvenir photographs
  • Track inventory, purchase orders and invoices in a well-organized manner. Inventory controls and invoice controls on all shipments received for Photo Kiosks
  • Identifying and implementing facility/equipment needs and improvements and coordinating purchase of goods and services required.
  • Cost control of operating expenses Maintaining good working relationships with tour group companies, suppliers, and other departments


REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven leadership and organizational skills
  • Strong guest service skills
  • Retail sales experience - including supervisory and purchasing roles
  • Budget and labour control experience
  • Knowledge and in touch with current photo programs and equipment
  • First Aid training an asset
